The Fine Water SUMMIT, together with the TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS 2027, will take place in Königstein, Germany, from April 1–3, 2027. Set on the wooded slopes of the Taunus in Hesse and just 30 minutes from Frankfurt Airport (FRA), Königstein is a historic spa town where nature, wellness, and culture provide an ideal setting for the global Fine Water community to come together.
For 2027, we have selected BOLD CAMPUS as our event hotel—a true campus of possibilities surrounded by the Taunus. Bringing meetings, accommodation, shared meals, tastings, conversations, terraces, nature, and relaxation together in one place, BOLD CAMPUS creates an environment designed for both professional exchange and the informal moments that make the SUMMIT memorable.
Fine Water SUMMIT 2027 | Terroir to Experience
The Fine Water SUMMIT 2027 explores terroir not only as the origin of water, but as the foundation of experience. Nature creates the water, while geology, climate, time, and place shape its distinctive identity. The opportunity for the Fine Water category is to translate that identity into memorable sensory, cultural, emotional, and commercial experiences—transforming water from simple hydration into a sense of place and a curated encounter.
Building on the defining themes of previous SUMMITs—sustainability, epicurean integration, storytelling, emotional connection, and the future of the category—the 2027 program will explore how Fine Water can create meaningful experiences across hospitality, gastronomy, wellness, luxury, and contemporary lifestyle. From pairing, service rituals, design, and architecture to source storytelling, wellbeing, sustainability, and changing consumer expectations, the SUMMIT will examine how terroir can shape the experiences that define Fine Water's future value.

The TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS 2027
A six-judge panel of experienced international water sommeliers will serve as the jury for the TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS 2027 to be held on April 1st in Königstein, Germany.
Water is not just water. It has terroir, comes from a real place, and has character. Representing the Fine Water Category, FineWaters and the Fine Water Society developed the blueprint for conducting water tastings, which is the professional industry standard. Membership in the Fine Water Society includes the registration fee for the TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS. Non-members pay $ 900 per brand for the registration fee for all applicable categories.
