The story of Saka Water started in 2004 at the Hendek Factory, beginning operation with the water coming from the Çamlıca spring. Hendek Factory is one of the most important water factories not only in Turkey but also in Europe. Production is carried out using advanced technology, untouched by human hands and in accordance with the highest hygiene standards.

In 2005, Saka Water took the first steps to expand abroad; received its natural mineral water certificate from the SGS Fresenius Institute, Europe's most important accredited laboratory. In 2007, Saka Water broke new ground by getting licensed under the "Natural Mineral Water" regulation issued by the Ministry of Health within the framework of EU harmonization laws. Thus, Saka Water became the first brand to obtain a natural mineral water license in Turkey. Saka has become a preferred brand abroad with its natural and balanced mineral composition. Today, Saka Water is offered for sale in many countries, especially in United Kingdom and Germany.

Continuing to invest in facilities as the demand increased, Saka Water established additional lines with an additional investment between 2009 - 2010. Saka Water commissioned 2 new carboy washing machines in 2013 and 2014 and established the glass bottle line in 2016. Saka Water continued its investments with the glass water production line it established in 2018, the new 1.5-liter production line and the renewed glass line established in 2020.

As the years went by, Saka Water sought an additional source to meticulously supply the water necessary for people to lead a healthy and balanced life. As a result of the conducted research, Köyceğiz spring was chosen, which has a pH value above 8 like Çamlıca spring. The Muğla factory was purchased, and production started in 2018 with the water supplied from this source. Saka Water is bottled without human intervention by preserving its unique and natural taste at the Köyceğiz spring, which is located among the magnificently natural and pine-forested mountains of Muğla Köyceğiz and offered to the consumers.

Saka Water's quality and taste are also crowned with awards. Saka Water won the "3 Star Superior Taste Award" given by the International Taste and Quality Institute three years in a row in the years 2011-2012-2013 and succeeded in becoming the owner of the Crystal Award. Being awarded the 3 Star Superior Taste Award once again in 2020 for its both Çamlıca and Köyceğiz sources; Saka Water will continue to bring healthy, quality, and delicious water to its consumers.
