The mineral water of Tehuacán originates from the melting of the Citlaltépetl volcano (Pico de Orizaba), one of the highest peaks. Drop by drop, the water descends through the mountain, passing through layers rich in calcium, sodium, magnesium, silica, phosphorus, potassium, and other elements, which impart unique characteristics to it. This natural process culminates as the water emerges approximately 4,000 meters below, in the city of Tehuacán, roughly 40 kilometers from where its journey begins.
The spring water is extracted through mineral water filter galleries that supply the well. The extraction process involves connecting a pump to the well, which channels the water through a pipeline to a distribution point. Part of the water is designated for production, while the rest is used for other purposes.
For production, the water is extracted using sanitary pumps, passing through polishing filters to remove any potential sand particles. This ensures the water maintains its brilliance and crystal-clear qualities
