The source of WOTER is a remote mountain artesian spring at the top of New Zealand’s South Island. It has been filtering through the ancient rocks of the Southern Alps for over 5000 years before reaching the surface under its own pressure. WOTER sources a naturally released 5000-year-old artesian flow, and only a small amount is sustainably collected for the consumer to enjoy. Difficult access through treacherous terrain keeps the location of the source at over 800 m above sea level secure and protected from potential outside contamination. Before surfacing as a remote artesian spring, the water spends over 5000 years in the aquifer. In an artesian aquifer, the water emerges naturally, without human or mechanical intervention. And because we only collect what is naturally released by the spring, the water truly is “nature’s limited release”.
This limited release product provides a unique experience. WOTER is your sustainable and ethical alternative to conventional bottled water. Bottled in recyclable, reusable glass, made in New Zealand.
