The region's crust changed dramatically at the beginning of the Mesozoic era, about 250 million years ago. Volcanoes erupted, entire mountain ranges disappeared, new mountain ranges were formed, deep fissures opened up, and large masses of water were trapped in the depths of the rock. Over millennia, the water in these underground reservoirs accumulated valuable minerals as it formed the aquifer..
In 1927, an attempt was made to improve the not-exactly-rosy economic situation in Austria by drilling for oil. But only water gushed out of the borehole instead of the hoped-for black gold. It was not until decades later, in the mid-1950s, that the people of Radkersburg realized they owned a highly mineralized spring of unique composition and healing power from a depth of 205 m.
Soon after, the Kurmittelhaus (today's spa center of the Parktherme) was built, and the foundation stone for Radkersburg's development into a spa was laid with drinking cures for urinary diseases.
Long Life's ideal balance of naturally high concentrations of magnesium and calcium makes it an invigorating beverage. Magnesium helps to
reduce stress while increasing performance at work, school, and sports. Calcium strengthens bones and keeps muscles working at their best.
If you take artificial supplements, your stomach and intestines need to work to extract these essential minerals. That's not the case with Long Life since they're already dissolved in the water. This significantly increases absorption levels and speed.
