The aquifer which supplies Aquadeco was created on an undifferentiated glacial till with a predominantly sandy silt matrix during the last ice age some 18,000 years ago. The retreating ice flow left a glaciofluvial ice-contact deposit of sand with gravel. These distinctly different layers of soils helped to form an filtration matrix for water to flow through.

The compositions of overlaying soils are indicative of the resulting high quality water that flows from our source. Analysis reveals that the water filtration process is diversified and rigorous where each soil type has its own characteristic porosivity and resulting filtration ability. The multiphasic process results in the removal of ions, pollutants and undesirable compounds at an atomic level.

This source has also been granted the "Spring Water" designation under new strict Canadian government regulations.
