Saratoga Spring Water is a nice epicurean alternative to imported, high-end, glass-bottled mineral water. The carbonation is bold with a lot of “fizz.” Perfect for food with a strong mouthfeel, the water can also be enjoyed with appetizers as a champagne replacement. I love the blue bottle.

The Iroquois were the first to experience the healing benefits of Saratoga Springs, which they discovered in the fourteenth century. European settlers found a similar value in the mineral waters, and the luxury resort built around the springs grew to be one of America’s most esteemed spas. Bottling of the water began in 1872 on the same site used by the current plant.
