Very low levels of calcium and magnesium make Spa a soft water with a slight hint of sourness. The very clean-tasting water is also low in minerals and sodium. Spa is a perfect match for dishes with the subtlest mouthfeel. I love it with sushi, sashimi, and other raw seafood.
The Spa springs, which are protected from pollution by the Ardennes Mountains nature reserve, bring water with a light carbonation to the surface. The sparkling Spa Marie-Henriette water, however, is not as popular as the Spa Reine still water.
