TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS 2022

The FineWaters International Water Tasting Competition TASTE & DESIGN AWARDS 2022 will be held in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 including the following events:

Water Sommelier Round Table
Water Tasting Competition
Hotel 1 Water Bar
Red Carpet Award Ceremony
Water Pairing Dinner

Water is not just water. It has terroir, comes from a real place, holds experiences, and gives wellness. Water deserves attention and the FineWaters International Water Tasting Competition will be conducted with a 5 judge panel of professional and experienced international water sommeliers and experts.


Schedule:

Friday, August 26th

19:00 - 21:00 | Water Sommelier Round Table with Martin Riese, Michael Mascha, and special guests. This will be a great opportunity to meet the famous water sommeliers, taste waters from around the world, and showcase new trends in our category. Special session on bottled water in social media. Location to be announced.

Saturday, August 27th

09:00 - 12:00 | Water Tasting Competition at the Melrose room of the 1 Hotel West Hollywood. The event has limited seating and is open to the public

12:00 - 14:00 | Water Bar at the 1 Hotel Lobby is open to the public with waters for tasting experiences, curated by certified water sommeliers from the Fine Water Academy.

19:00 - 21:00 | Red Carpet Award Ceremony & Water Pairing Dinner

 

Registration
Members of the FINE WATER SOCIETY
There is no registration fee for current members of the Fine Water Society. We will contact you for a possible participation soon and you just need to confirm.

NON MEMBERS

There is no entry fee for current members of the Fine Water Society. The fee for non-members is $ 900 per brand for 3 categories (still/sparkling/design).

Tasting:
Blind tasting at room temperature for all waters. Sparkling water will be opened within 2 minutes of tasting. Dedicated premium water-specific stemware.

We expect close to 1000 bottles for the event, so please help us manage the load. Do not send more water than needed as per the request below. Label your shipping box with the brand name of your water on at least two sides—label 1/2, and 2/2 if you have multiple boxes. Ensure the water arrives between August 1 and 15, and don't forget the custom forms and proforma invoice. Email us with the tracking number and proforma invoice.
