Sitiako water is bottled at the source by the Zargianaki family creating employment opportunities as well as social, cultural activities actively contributing to the development of local infrastructure and economy. The company was founded by geologists being attracted the area known for good water.  Today, the entire site of Sitia is designated as a "NATURA" area by the EU and at the same time UNESCO has declared the site is a geopark named "UNESCO World Geopark Sitia", ensuring the protection of our source from all human activity.
 
The water comes from an aquifer 300m below the surface and is bottled at the source south of Sitia, a small town on the norther coast of Greece. The family business has been producing refreshments since 1957, and started the producti ofon bottled water in 2008.
